Meet Axel, our 2-year-old husky mix with a heart full of hope and paws made for adventure. He’s spent most of his young life without a true place to call home—but that changes now.
Axel is:
Dog-friendly and loves a good play session
Smart, trainable, and eager to learn (free training included thanks to the Pedigree Foundation!)
House-trained and respectful indoors
â™‚ï¸ A climber and escape artist—classic husky energy! He’ll need a secure yard and someone who appreciates his zest for life.
He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for a teammate. Someone who sees his potential, embraces his quirks, and gives him the stability he’s never had.

AXEL'S ADOPTION FEE IS $175
The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.
Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
