Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROO is a 3-year-old, 14 lb Pomeranian (though he’s really about 70% fluff, 20% sass, and 10% teddy-bear ears ). Roo is being fostered in Waterloo.
This little guy loves the outdoors—he gets so excited when the leash and harness come out! Short walks are perfect for him since he can get overheated, but a couple a day keep him happy since he loves being outside. He’s a friendly fellow who enjoys meeting other dogs on walks, though at home he’s still learning to share treats, toys, and food.
Roo is all about attention and affection. He’ll happily demand pets (and isn’t subtle about it!). Roo will need grooming to keep his floof looking adorable.
Roo also LOVES toys—especially anything squeaky or his current favorite, a chirping owl that he proudly carries around. His treat motivation makes him a great candidate for training.
Roo is not a fan of the crate, but he’s perfectly content snoozing on his own outside of it.
Like most Poms, Roo has his own opinions—he’ll let you know when he’s done with brushing or too much fussing. As a result of his Pom personality, his house should have no young children living there. If there is another dog, they should be willing to give him space when he needs it. We don’t know how he is with cats.
