Weight: ~9.5lbs

Meet Kevin, reported to be a little bookworm! This 1-year-old cutie came to us from a partner shelter where he was reported by his previous owner to love lounging in bookshelves—though he’s not exactly “shelf-stable,” since he also had a habit of knocking over knick-knacks along the way.

Kevin would do best in a home with space to adjust at his own pace and a few good scratching posts to keep him entertained.

If you’re looking for a smart, quirky kitty with a touch of mischief, Kevin might be the perfect match! He`s currently in a Foster home to give him a break from the shelter. If you`re interested in meeting him, call our Adoptions desk to coordinate a meet & greet!

Sign Adoption Contract

Once you've determined the match is right, we'll complete the adoption paperwork and provide you with helpful info about your new pet!

Take the Pet Home

This is our favorite part, seeing new partners walk out our doors.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees include: spay/neuter, microchip, recent treatment for fleas and worms, age-appropriate vaccinations, testing for FELV/FIV (cats), certificate for free vet exam, and an adoption packet with additional pet care information and coupons.

Adult Cats (6 months – 7 year): $110
Senior Cats (8 years or older): $65
Puppies (under 6 months): $300
Adult Dogs (6 months – 7 years): $200
Senior Dogs (8 years or older): $150

Please also note: You must be 21 years or over to adopt.

If you are a senior person you may be eligible for an adoption fee waiver through our Dr Jean’s Senior Friends program.
