Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoptable Pup Spotlight: Curly! Ready for His Close-Up
Say "Woof!" to Curly, one of the funniest and most handsome pups you’ll ever meet! At just four months old, this little star is already showing off his sweet, goofy nature and a big, beautiful personality. Like his legendary namesake, Curly will keep you laughing, but instead of "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk," he'll be giving you kisses!
Curly is a stunning boy with a gorgeous white coat featuring charming black spots. He's an affectionate and engaging pup who loves getting pets and is expected to be a large dog, growing to over 50 lbs.
Curly's Stellar Attributes
Big Personality & Smarts: Curly has a huge heart and a smart little brain! He's doing great learning his manners, especially when he knows a tasty reward is coming—he's already a pro at sitting for treats!
Leash Savvy: This boy is ready to hit the sidewalks! He's doing great walking on a harness, making him the perfect companion for your next neighborhood adventure.
Dog-Friendly: He’s a total socialite and great with other dogs, ready to make new pals at the dog park.
What Curly Needs
Curly is a high-energy puppy who needs an active, committed family. He requires:
Daily Exercise: As a high-energy pup, he needs daily walks and plenty of play to keep him happy and healthy.
No Cats (Or Careful Supervision): Curly can be a little too curious about cats. For his safety and theirs, we recommend a home without cats or one where he will have very close supervision around them.
Ready to Go!
Curly is all set to join his forever family! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
If you're looking for a clever, handsome, and loving new family member who's already putting in the effort to be a great companion, then it's time to meet Curly!
Are you ready to welcome this well-mannered goofball into your home?

More about this rescue
A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
