Meet Nyla – The Sweet, Short-Stack Superstar!
At just 9 months old (born 12/12/2024), Nyla has already overcome more than most pups ever should. Found skinny and alone at only 5 months old, she’s now safe, thriving, and ready to find the forever family she deserves.
This adorable Corgi / Shepherd / Lab mix might have short legs, but she’s big on love and personality! Standing only about 17–18 inches tall and weighing around 28 lbs, Nyla is the perfect fun-sized companion—compact enough for apartment life, sturdy enough for adventures.
Despite her rough start, Nyla’s heart is all love. She’s gentle, loyal, and melts into belly rubs faster than you can say “good girl.” A little shy at first, she quickly blossoms into a playful goofball once she feels safe.
Nyla’s Highlights:
• Spayed, 9-month-old female
• Breed: Corgi / Shepherd / Lab mix
• Size: 28 lbs of love, 17–18” tall
• Dog- and kid-friendly! Loves playing with other pups and adores children of all ages
• Crate trained and leash trained
• Almost fully potty trained (she’s doing amazing with a consistent schedule!)
• Knows “sit” and “wait” before meals
• Food motivated – cheese is her love language
• Still working on manners like “no jumping” and “no counter surfing”
• LOVES tennis balls, chew toys, and being told she’s the best girl ever
Nyla has a sweet, submissive personality that helps her fit beautifully into any pack. She’s currently living in a busy apartment with kids, dogs, and plenty of activity—she takes it all in stride! She can be a little vocal when excited, but she’s learning fast and absolutely loves meeting new people.
Nyla may be short, but she’s long on heart. She’d thrive in a home with another friendly dog, children, or anyone who has patience and love to give. Whether you’re a first-time dog parent or a seasoned pro, Nyla’s gentle, goofy charm will win you over.

We are foster based so once you find a pet either online or at one of our adoption events please submit an application bit.ly/BellesBudsApp
Interview
Once the application is processed we will set up a phone interview and meet and greet (depending on your location).
Meet the Pet
Once the application is approved, we will set up a meet and greet. This varies either at your house, with your pet, or at fosters house.
Home Check
We require either a home video/pictures or a home visit.
Sign Adoption Contract
If all goes well with application and meet and greet and we determine your home is the right fit for the dog, we have a contract to sign.
Pay Fee
Our adoption fee goes towards the dogs vetting. All dogs leave fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered (if old enough)
