Meet Aira!
Aira is a gentle, easygoing kitty with a heart full of love. When she first came into our rescue from a local shelter, she was very pregnant and actually began giving birth the moment she arrived. Sadly, one of her babies didn’t make it, but fate had other plans—just a day later, we got a call about an orphaned kitten in need. Aira welcomed that little one as her own without hesitation, showing just how nurturing and kind she truly is.
She raised her kittens in a safe, loving foster home and is now ready to begin her next chapter—finding her forever family. Aira loves cozy nap spots, crunchy treats, and sharing quiet companionship. She’s the kind of cat who will happily keep you company while you relax or read a book.
Aira is FIV-positive, but don’t let that worry you! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus):
• Does not mean she can’t live a long, healthy, happy life. Many FIV+ cats live just as long as non-FIV cats.
• Is not easily spread—it’s mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds, so friendly, fixed cats living together can safely coexist.
• With regular vet checkups, a healthy diet, and a stress-free home, FIV+ cats like Aira can thrive for many years.
