Martha Jane is a 10-month-old shepherd mix, about 50 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She spends her days endlessly playing with her foster siblings, proudly living her life as the little sister of the group. She’s a fiery, playful girl who loves to go all out, and when she’s ready for a break, she’ll happily take herself to her crate for a nap.
Martha Jane is crate trained and potty trained. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she warms up (and treats definitely help), you’ve earned her trust. From there, she’s eager to build a relationship and soak up all the love. She and her foster do little mini training sessions each day, and it’s so clear how smart she is. Whether it’s walking on leash, practicing eye contact, learning to sit, or just working on the little things, Martha truly thrives and absolutely loves learning.
She would do best with an active family who enjoys a balance of playtime, lounging, and cuddles. Martha Jane would love a home with another dog, but she could also be an only dog as long as she still gets opportunities to socialize and play with other dogs. She’s such a great dog, and if you’re looking for a growing puppy to add to your family, Martha Jane is ready.
