My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is a medium-big, adorable mutt, possibly a poodle mix, who is ready for a second chance at life.

She has a calm nature, loves belly rubs, and has a funny, endearing personality that shines brightest when she feels safe and cared for. Despite being left behind in the desert after her puppies were taken multiple times, Luna’s gentle spirit remains intact.

What she needs now is a patient and loving home where she can truly blossom. With time, care, and affection, Luna will reveal her full personality and become a devoted companion. She deserves more than survival, she deserves comfort, pampering, and the joy of being part of a family.

More about this rescue

At Finding Meadows, our name says it all. We find hope where others see none.

Every day, we search the desert and rural areas of the Borderland, rescuing abandoned and stray animals left to fend for themselves. Many of these pets are dumped with no food, no water, and no shelter but we’re there to give them the love they once gave their family.

Our mission:

Rescue animals from the desert and streets

Feed, spay/neuter abandoned pets

Provide medical care, foster homes, and love

Match them with forever families where they can thrive

We work hand in hand with fosters, volunteers, and partners like Living Border / Frontera Viva to fight the animal crisis affecting our entire region. Together, we’re creating real change one rescue at a time.

When you adopt from Finding Meadows, you’re not just saving a life, you’re giving hope where it was lost.
