We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 11/14/25 to NorCal, OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add San to our trip for the right home!

Sam is a 1-year-old poodle/maltese/terrier mix weighing 11.5 lbs. He has a wonderfully soft coat that sheds very minimally, making him easy to maintain with regular grooming. He is fully grown, at a perfect weight, and has the sweetest presence about him.

He has been fully vetted and is ready to join his forever family. He is neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped, and has had a thorough physical exam. He also received a professional dental cleaning, no extractions were needed, just a light scale and polish and his teeth were in excellent overall health. Sam has had months of care, grooming, and training with us, and he is thriving in every way.

He is house trained and goes outside every 4 hours on a structured schedule that works beautifully for him. We recommend continuing this routine in his new home. He is crate trained and will sleep peacefully through the night in his crate, though he would happily curl up in bed with you or in his own cozy dog bed if that’s the arrangement you prefer. He is leash trained, loves his walks, and does wonderfully at the groomers. Bath time at home is also no problem, he tolerates it well and comes out looking as handsome as ever.

He is best described as a Velcro dog. He is deeply bonded to his people and happiest when he is near them. Whether at your feet, in your lap, or by your side, he finds comfort in being close. He loves toys, but what he loves most is companionship. He is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and thrives on human connection.

He is also a great traveler and loves road trips. He rides calmly in the car and enjoys being part of any outing. He isn’t a barker by nature, though he will alert you to unfamiliar noises. He takes correction easily, always looking back to his person for direction. He loves treats and sits politely to receive them, though he’s very good at convincing you one is never quite enough.

He does well with dogs, kids, and people alike. He will happily play with other friendly dogs, but his heart is most content when focused on his person. He would thrive as an only pet, enjoying the extra love and attention, but would also do beautifully in a family with children or other dogs.

He came to us from a young man who loved him dearly. However, between school, work, and being a new father, he realized that Sam’s needs for companionship couldn’t always be met the way Sam deserved. He made the selfless decision to reach out to us so that Sam could have the full and happy life he longed for, one where he would be loved and cared for every day.

He is a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to share his life with someone who will let him be close, love him as fully as he loves in return, and make him part of their daily life. He is a truly devoted boy who will fill your heart with joy. ❤️
