My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is a 6-year-old large mixed breed with a heart as big as her paws. She’s been with us for almost a year now waiting patiently, learning to trust, and dreaming of a quiet home where she can finally relax.

Coco is shy at first, but once she knows you, she’ll be your ride-or-die best friend. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are—your velcro shadow, your couch potato buddy, your soft-eyed sidekick who asks for nothing more than love and a comfy spot by your side.

Coco has lived with other animals before, and while she may do well with the right match, she’d need a home without small children. What she needs most is a calm, experienced person who can give her the time and space to build her confidence and feel safe. She’s currently part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, which includes three free training sessions with KindK9s after adoption to help ensure she’s set up for success in her new home.

As much as we adore her, we don’t want to celebrate an anniversary with Coco.
We want to celebrate an adoption day instead. 💛

If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal, loving companion who just wants to be your homebody bestie—Coco is waiting for you.
