Meet Jessie – A Tiny Survivor with a Huge Heart
dob 4/4/25
Sweet little Jessie had a rough start in life. Found outside—sick, weak, dehydrated, and painfully thin—she was struggling to survive on her own. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and helped catch her so she could finally get the medical care and love she desperately needed.
Her vet checkup revealed that Jessie had suffered a broken back leg at some point in her young life. The injury had already begun to heal on its own, and while it doesn't slow her down one bit, she may always have a slightly unique gait. It's just part of her charm!
Estimated to be born around early April, Jessie is still very petite for her age. We suspect her difficult beginnings and lack of early nutrition stunted her growth, so she’ll likely remain a dainty little cat—forever kitten-sized, in both looks and spirit.
But don’t let her small size fool you—Jessie is full of life! She’s playful, energetic, and so much fun to watch as she zooms around the room. She adores people and craves attention. One of her favorite things to do is flop over dramatically and offer up her belly for a rub. Just be warned: like many feisty felines, Jessie turns belly rubs into playtime—complete with love bites that can get a bit enthusiastic. Because of this, we don’t recommend her for homes with very young children.
Jessie is well-socialized with other cats and enjoys their company, whether they’re older or closer to her age. She also shares her foster home with a large dog. While she’s still a bit cautious around her canine roommate, she’s curious and learning to coexist peacefully.
Now Jessie is ready for the next chapter: a loving forever home where she’ll never be cold, hungry, or unsafe again. Could that be with you?
