Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
SWEET AND SOULFUL
Meet Sylveser! Sylvester is a striking male tuxedo cat who’s just joined our rescue. With his dapper black-and-white coat and soulful eyes, he’s as handsome as they come, but right now, he’s feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the changes in his world.
Sylvester is currently very nervous and needs some time to adjust to his new surroundings. He’s still learning that he’s safe here, and we’re giving him all the gentle care and space he needs to come out of his shell.
He seems to prefer calm, quiet environments where he can settle in at his own pace. For this reason, we think he would do best in a home without too much hustle and bustle.
Sylvester is good with other cats but has no experience with dogs. He is good with older, respectful kids who can understand his need for a slow introduction and gentle handling.
If you have a quiet, understanding home and a heart ready to offer some extra patience and love, Sylvester could be the companion you’ve been waiting for. With time, we believe this shy boy will blossom into a loyal and loving friend. Come meet Sylvester at the Kitty Corner in our FIV+ Adoption room and help him feel safe, seen, and loved.
Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
