My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Meet Apple! Apple is a 7 month old Pug mix. She and her siblings were brought to the shelter and dropped off in a card board box. Our  rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays, reached out to us for help.

Foster Update: Apple is a smedium sized pup (25lbs) with a big personality!   Immediately after arriving from Texas she was zooming around the yard with our dog and then crashed out with cute puppy snores. She is curious, goofy, and a top-tier snuggler. Apple loves toys, sticks, and playing with both dogs and people. She  is doing great with her potty training, and  does well in the car in a crate. She loves her toys, playing fetch, and zoomies in the yard. She can entertain herself when needed. She doesn’t pull on the leash, but is still learning to walk in a straight line . Anybody would be lucky to have this sweet baby!

Apple would love an active home! Another  playful canine companion would be great, but isn’t mandator   She will do best in a home with a securely fenced yard to get her zoomies out.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization.
