Salem is a lovely two year old Tortie with a “Phantom of the Opera” face; half mostly black and half mostly orange. Her ears are rimmed with black and she has dark green eyes. Rembrandt is a two year old long haired light Orange Tabby with a ruff around his neck, hazel eyes, and a pink nose. Salem and Rembrandt were taken in by a family as Kittens, at a time when the family was facing some life challenges and the Cats were wonderful emotional support. The family is now moving out of the country and cannot take the Cats with them. Salem is soft spoken, but very intelligent and loving when she gets comfortable. Rembrandt is very playful and vocal and he likes to be entertained, but will also hang out and relax with you when he feels comfortable. Both Cats have always lived indoors and they are a pleasure to be around. Salem and Rembrandt have been shown a lot of affection and they are a bonded pair, so we are looking for a loving home where they can be together. They love each other very much and are great companions. They sleep together, eat together, clean each other, and play together and have ever since they were Kittens. All applicants are screened thru our application process. Visitors are welcome at any time to meet and spend time with our animals. Our information is listed if our volunteers are not onsite to answer any and all questions you may have. Potential adoptors are encouraged to call ahead to make sure the Animal they want to meet is in the cattery as some of our Animals are in foster homes.

Cat Connection 501(c) is a non-profit Cat and Dog rescue organization officially established in 1996. We rescue Cats and Dogs from the shelters and streets, take care of their medical and socialization and adopt them into new homes. Cat Connection is an all volunteer group with no paid staff. All donations and money raised goes directly to the care of our Animals.
Cat Connection Animal rescues include: Los Angeles County and City shelters, Animals from homes that can no longer keep them and sick and injured Animals from the streets.
Animals that come into Cat Connection are fully vetted, including testing for FELV/FIV, vaccinations, de-worming and treated for any illnesses and medical conditions.
Cat Connection is a no-kill Rescue Group; all animals stay with us in our Cattery or foster homes until placed into a permanent home.
We offer the public the courtesy of posting their Animals on our Adoption sites and social media if they need to re-home them.
