Harper is a short haired tortie that we call “secret fat,” because of her little belly that is hidden from the front. She mostly keeps to herself, but loves pets on her own terms. Her favorite places are anywhere with sun. She love lounging and sleeping in the sunniest spot in the house. She is quiet, and not much of a talker. She has lived with two-three other cats over the years and does well with other cats, but I think she would prefer to be with an older cat with similar energy. For a time, she was the “mom” cat of our little rag tag group of kitties and she took her role very seriously – she loved cuddling and grooming her furry brothers. We have not socialized her with dogs.
Vinny is a long haired tuxedo cat, who is named after John Travolta’s character in Pulp Fiction (due to his original name being Travolta). He is still a kitten at heart and loves to play. He is overly fond of catnip infused toys and chasing around a laser pointer. He loves a good snuggle and has a sixth sense for when you are sad. He is talkative and will let you know, repeatedly, if he needs something. He has lived with two-three cats over the years and does well with them. He is a little shy of new people and new animals at first, but is super friendly once he warms up to them. We have not socialized him with dogs. Vinny likes to hide and having cozy places to settle in would be helpful. His favorite places are under furniture and closets.
