Max is an 8-year-old male dog who is heartworm positive and has some dog selectivity. He’s been at the shelter for nearly a year, and time is running out for him to find a home. Max arrived under difficult circumstances, and he urgently needs a loving and responsible placement. He is not yet neutered and is a cryptorchid, with only one testicle visibly present. Please consider giving Max the chance he deserves.

Additional adoption info

We require a minimum $300 adoption fee to offset veterinary fees, medicines, and food. Travel expense may also be required for transportation. Those wishing to adopt will be asked to provide references and commit to care for the shepherd(s) they adopt.
