Sophie is her real name given by the family she loved and felt safe with for her first 8yrs of her life-Unfortunately, they gave her to a high kill shelter...because they were moving. PPNK decided to rescue her and hope her next chapter will be with a committed family. Sophie is microchipped and adjusting to her temporary new home, a cage. She will do best in a mature home and mature older children. She doesn't need a lot, just a friend and someone that talks nice to her and loves her on her own conditions. Apply for a sleepover- Her adoption fee has been reduced.
All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals. We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.
