Meet Meenie! Meenie is guessed to be about 10 years old and weighs 5.5 lbs. She was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and unfortunately, is not a candidate for surgery - dental and spay. She is currently on 3 different heart medications and will need to be maintained on these for life, as well as have routine checkups with the cardiologist.
Meenie’s adoption donation of $350 was generously covered by a wonderful donor so your money can go towards her medications and vet care.
Adopters must live within a 1 hour driving distance from Romeoville, IL. Reference checks, vet checks, and home visits required. We do not do same-day adoptions. Email us with any questions info@perfectpooches.org. The application to adopt can be found under the "Adoption Process" tab on our website www.perfectpooches.org.

Step 1: Complete an adoption application.
Step 2: Email adoption application to info@perfectpooches.org
Step 3: A Perfect Pooches adoption coordinator will contact you to review your application and perform an interview.
Step 4: Based on available animals and application/interview, an adoption coordinator will try and match you with your perfect pooch.
Step 5: The next step may include a home visit, meet and greet with family members and existing pets, etc.
Step 6: If a match is made the adoption will be finalized, which includes signing of an adoption contract.

This doesn't mean our dogs will not have accidents in the house, or bark at times you don't want them to, or chew on your good shoes. They are dogs and they will require training and structure, but their flaws make them truly unique, beautiful, and "perfect" for the right family.
