My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yogi is a thoughtful little kitten with a calm, quiet presence that brings a peaceful energy to any room. While he may not be the first to run up and say hello, Yogi is a gentle observer who takes in the world at his own pace-and once he feels comfortable, his sweet nature truly begins to shine.

He's not one for the spotlight, but Yogi shows his affection in soft, subtle ways: a curious peek from his favorite cozy corner, a slow blink of trust, or a quiet purr when he's feeling safe. He's the kind of kitten who bonds deeply and quietly-and once you're in his circle, you'll have a loyal little friend for life.

Yogi would thrive in a calm home with someone who appreciates a softer, more sensitive companion. He also does well with other gentle cats and finds comfort in their presence-especially his buddy Boo Boo!

If you're looking for a kitten with a peaceful spirit, a loving heart, and the quiet charm of a wise little soul, Yogi might just be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
