🌼 Meet Blanca — A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Safe Place
Blanca arrived at SpokAnimal in August, shy, unsure, and overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds. Her gentle nature often meant she hid in the back of her kennel, quietly watching visitors come and go. For two months she was overlooked — not because she wasn’t special, but because she was simply too scared to show her true self.
In October, Blanca moved into a loving foster home with Kathy, where she has slowly begun to bloom. With patience, routine, and kindness, she’s building confidence every day. She is kennel-trained and finds a lot of comfort in having her own cozy, safe spot where she can relax when the world feels overwhelming. Now, this sweet girl is finally ready to meet her forever family.
Blanca is a tender, sensitive dog who wants so badly to trust — she just needs someone willing to go at her pace. She would thrive in a calm home with another friendly, confident dog who can show her the ropes of “how to dog.” She didn’t even know how to play with toys at first, but thanks to her foster home, she’s beginning to explore and enjoy them.
Because sudden movement and noise can be scary for her, Blanca would do best in a home with older, patient kids who can give her the space and gentleness she needs. She enjoys going for daytime walks, but nighttime still feels a little too spooky for her.
Blanca may be shy, but she is incredibly sweet, and every step forward she makes is a beautiful one. With time, love, and understanding, she will continue to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.

$275 for puppies 6 to 11 months
$225 for adult dogs 1 to 7 years
$85 for senior dogs over 7 years
$150 for kittens up to 5 months
$100 for cats 6 to 11 months
$85 for adult cats 1 to 6 years
$45 for senior cats 7 to 9 years
$25 for cats with extra life experience
Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, microchip, license for pet parents that live in Spokane County, 1st set of vaccinations, rabies vaccination, a wellness exam, and a lifetime of love, licks, and tail wags.
