Meet Joker! Despite his name, this sweet boy lays all the love he has to offer right out in front of you — no jokes here! This adorable 7-month-old orange tabby has nuzzled his way straight into our hearts. And honestly… just look at that pudgy little face! How could you think he’s anything short of absolutely adorable? Joker’s favorite pastimes include batting around a wand toy (bonus points if it has feathers ) and showing off his skills on a scratching post or cardboard box. He does great with other cats, but would also be perfectly happy being the center of attention — truly the best of both worlds! This handsome guy knows exactly how to win over your heart and your squeezy treats, and he’s patiently waiting for someone to come along and scoop him up. Could that be you? Apply at hsecarolina.org and come meet Joker today!

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
