My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trooper was found off 439 headed Towards Suwannee, FL. He had been there off the road fending for himself for aporoximately 1 week. He and his momma had been hit by a car. She oassed away and Trooper had both legs broken on right side. He also had mange.

His right front leg had already fused at growth plates. He was in a cast several weeks to support it. The back leg had a pin. It turned out good and vet was imoressed. Trooper may need a support when he gets older for right front leg.

He knows basic commands sit, stay, wait, and down. Still working on all. He also knows door, hugs, belly rubs, and Be a good boy. He is still learning.

He needs a fenced yard to run his energy off. He like bones to chew on.

He is neutered and up to date on shots.

He can use the pee pad and outside.

He needs training on the crate.

He does well with dogs. Proper introductions will help.

More about this rescue

Our small rescue started in 2018. We rescue cats, dogs and sometimes wildlife. We do TNR with cats. We take volunteers. Being in rural community there is a high number of cats and low funding.
