ROGER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!
Are you looking for a big, cuddly couch potato? You have found your pup! Roger is a 75-pound, 1-year old Carolina/Shepherd mix whose love of naps and cuddle sessions are matched only by his love of booty skritches. He has an EAR-resistible face with his light eyes and single ear always at attention. He is the happiest, snuggliest boy! He even greets his grown ups with a “smile” when they walk through the door. Please don’t try to tell him he’s not a lap dog; he’d never believe you.
Despite being a long, lanky boy, he’s a bit of a scaredy cat. He’s timid of strangers at first and prefers a home without children. Roger was previously adopted by a family with young kids. Despite months of coaching and training, it has become clear he will not get over his fear of children and so he is now looking for a kid-free forever home. Roger loves other dogs and has not been cat-tested. He is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash.
Roger is truly the cuddliest, most loving lazy bones — an old soul, no doubt! Let’s find him a home where he will get the big love he deserves! He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Roger up north to his new family.
