Meet Ophelia
Born December, 2022
Ophelia was a young momma with a heart full of love. After she took such wonderful care of her kittens, all of her beautiful kittens were adopted, leaving her behind. She's ready for a home of her own where she can soak up all the affection she gave so generously. Ophelia loves being held and will happily sleep on your laugh, purring contentedly.
Ophelia is food motivated and always excited for mealtime or treats. Churu’s are her favorite. She enjoys playing with wands, spinning balls, and anything that moves. She's gentle, making her a companion for a quiet home that can offer love and affection.

🐾 Does not adopt out Kittens under the age of 12
weeks old or prior to spay/neuter.
🐾 Kittens less than five months old must be adopted in pairs or to a
home that has a young playful kitten. Most, if not all, kittens
under 5-6 months, do better in pairs. They keep each other
company and out of trouble.
🐾 Bonded pairs WILL NOT BE SEPARATED. There is
no exception to this rule.

We also verify two references, a vet check for up-to-date vaccinations, SNAP test . We verify the property, and if the adopter is renting, we do require that the lease have information regarding an adoption of a pet or speak with the landlord. It is only after the application is approved that people can come in to meet the cats and kittens.

At SCARLI, in conjunction with LICKS, is a nonprofit, no kill Cat Rescue. Our mission is to reduce Long Island homeless cat population, and it is achieved through rescue, recuperation, and adoption of kittens and cats. We provide TNR services to many of the community cats locally.
