My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to the cutest little guy you've ever met, Sparrow! Sparrow is a food connoisseur who appreciates having his own space. He has come an incredibly long way, from waiting for his foster parent to be out of sight before he could eat, to now loudly proclaiming his need for food.

Sparrow is the perfect cat for a quiet, patient household. Since he came into foster care, Sparrow has shown several wonderful personality traits, including a mischievous, playful nature. His favorite hobbies include chasing a laser pointer and snuggling up on his favorite chair for a nap.

Sparrow has slowly become more open to physical touch, and with a steady routine, has progressed to sitting on laps and approaching for playtime. If you have a quiet home that is ready for some company, Sparrow is the perfect companion for you.

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
