Once upon a Christmas week, a gentle Goldendoodle named Sassy wished for a life beyond the cold chain she’d known her whole four years. When she arrived at FairyTails—matted, hurting, and unsure—our team wrapped her in warmth, kindness, and Christmas magic. 🎁💕
After a full spa day, a dental cleaning, and vet care for her eye, Sassy began to sparkle again. Sassy is feeling better, healing beautifully, and finally getting to experience comfort for the very first time. Her eye is improving with medication—it may end up being a lasting cosmetic issue from neglect, but it doesn’t seem to bother her one bit. Despite everything, she has the sweetest heart and a grateful little spirit.
Because her world was so small for so long, Sassy would do best as an only dog, where she can feel safe and loved. She does well around other dogs in training as long as they respect her space—and with time, she may grow even braver.
Now Sassy’s Christmas wish is simple:
A cozy home, a soft couch, and a family to love her forever. 🎄❤️

All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you dewormed, fully vetted, spayed/neutered, dental exam, heart worm tested, flea/tick & heartworm monthly preventative, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, bathed and professionally groomed!
They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.
