My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clause was adopted from the SPCA. His owner was told then, in 2023, that he was 3years old. That would make him 5 years old now. However, after speaking to the owner that did not want him back, we both agreed that Clause looked much older than 5.
We rescued Clause in Overbrook where a kind feeder had been caring for him and others. Clause is so sweet and lovable, though it’s evident he has been through the mill!
We are currently working on getting him an appointment to see a vet. We want him to be checked out for any possible illnesses and get updated vaccines and testing. We hope someone will adopt him and give him a better life. We are estimating his age to be closer to 9, however, we really have no idea.

Foster homes.

2.

Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.

Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.
