Meet Buster, a sweet young tuxedo tomcat who has already been through so much in his short life. Rescued from the streets of Fort Lauderdale, poor Buster was suffering from a severe flea allergy and self-inflicted injuries so bad we couldn’t even share his “before” photos online. With proper care, love, and time in foster, this handsome boy has healed beautifully and revealed his true personality: calm, gentle, and endlessly grateful.
Buster has tested positive for FIV, but that doesn’t stop him from being the mellowest, friendliest companion you could ask for. He wouldn’t hurt a fly and gets along with other easygoing cats. He has lived with Bonnie with the Boots since the day they were rescued, and the two are the best of friends. While Buster could join a quiet home with another calm cat, his dream home would be with Bonnie, his beloved sidekick.
Our adoption fee includes: sterilization surgery, microchipping, deworming, age-appropriate FELV/FIV testing, up-to-date vaccines, fecal testing, and monthly flea prevention. All pets are examined by a vet and out of state pets receive an additional certificate of veterinary inspection.

We are a foster based rescue meaning our volunteer fosters open their doors to pets in need while they find their forever homes. Adopters are scheduled for personal meet and greets with foster once their adoption application is approved.
