My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing StrayOnce, a cat with confidence, beauty, and just the right dash of diva. True to her name, shes decided shes done with the stray life and is now ready for a forever home where shell be adored the way she deserves.

StrayOnce is not a clingy catshe likes her independence and insists that everything happen on her terms. But when she chooses you, youll feel like royalty, because shell honor you with her affection, her presence, and the chance to stroke her luxuriously soft fur.

Around other cats, StrayOnce is perfectly tolerant but largely uninterested: shed rather focus on herself, as any true star would.

If youre looking for a cat with personality, charm, and a regal sense of self, StrayOnce is your girl. Shes not just looking for an adoptershes looking for a loyal fan club.

Could your home be the palace this queen deserves?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
