Zeek will first wow you with his black coat dappled with white hairs and bright eyes. But, see past his good looks and you will get to know a friendly, sweet and playful cat.
Zeek is a cuddler and loves to snuggle and purr by your side. He loves to chase and wrestle with his friends at Kitty Corner. He is initially shy but as he gets comfortable, he will be his gentle, calm, cozy self. Zeek is an avid bird-watcher and a true day-dreamer. Do be careful, Zeek sometimes naps under bedding and be really careful, he will steal your heart.
Zeek enjoys the presence of other cats and gains confidence from being around a friend. When he came to live at Kitty Corner, he got along just fine with everyone, but over time formed a very tight friendship with another young kitty named Chedduh. Zeek and Chedduh can often be found snuggled up in a cubby together, enjoying each other's company. This quiet and gentle pair make a great team and would love to continue their story together in their new home.

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep.
If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted!
Adoption fees are:
Kittens under 6mo: $130 ($200 for two)
Cats over 6mo: $90 ($150 for two)
Puppies under 6mo: $225
Dogs over 6mo: $175
