Meet Ben! 🐾❤️

Ben is a 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix with a striking look and a heart that's just waiting to trust again. Found as a stray and never reclaimed, Ben is now safe and hoping to find a forever home where he can feel secure and loved.

Since we don’t know much about his past, we’re unsure how Ben does with other animals, kids, or if he's house or crate trained. What we do know is that he can be a little cautious at first — but once he warms up, he's incredibly sweet and loyal. He just needs a little patience and understanding to let his true personality shine.

Ben is healthy, full of potential, and ready to be adopted today!

Ben's Adoption Fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

Monetary donations can be made over the phone or in person any time we are open. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and close daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Item donations can be shipped to the shelter or dropped off in person at 2935 Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Our mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach. We strive to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness thus bringing an end to the cruelest practices towards animals. We aim to lower the number of homeless/unwanted animals and build a stronger animal protection movement within the community. Most importantly, we strive to find the best possible outcomes for all animals released into our care.
