My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is 4 mo old Fletcher, listed as a retriever/lab mix that arrived on 9/21 as a stray at the Mesquite Animal Shelter. He weighs 32 pounds. If you spent any amount of time with Fletcher you would realize that this youngster has an overload of puppy energy and behavior. Just like any puppy, he needs proper training and a person or family who would invest time and effort in daily offering exercise, play, and enrichment. He is very playful and is mildly interested in toys. He’s just a boy who has places to go, people to see and things to do! He climbed up on our play equipment in the yard showing off his athletic ability! He loves treats, but needs to learn to take them more gently. He is friendly and allowed me to pet him when he slowed down. Even though I’m describing him accurately, as having a very high energy level, I also believe he has the potential to learn what is expected of him and how he can best fit into the life of his new family.
