Cobre is a sweet and chill boy who loves being outside and running around the yard. He especially enjoys having his ears and neck scratched. At first he was very shy, but being around other dogs has already helped him come out of his shell so he'll need a confident companion dog in his adoptive home. He still has some skittish moments and is not fully potty trained, but he has shown quick improvement in just a short time and will likely continue to gain confidence with patience and consistency. Cobre came from a group of four abandoned puppies and is still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. He makes his foster mom laugh by climbing into the water bowl to splash around. The only time he fusses is for a few minutes at night when first kenneled, and then he settles down. Cobre will thrive with a patient adopter who can give him time to adjust and a calm environment where he can feel secure as he blossoms into the wonderful companion he is meant to be.
