This cutie pie is being fostered in East TN Athens area. Out of state welcome and the adoption fee here on Adopt a Pet includes the cost of transport to your area. We use Rescue Riders for All our pet transport needs because they are awesome!

Welcome Odie aka Squishy face to Pet Path. He was rescued by amazing rescuer Journeys Legacy—Dogs in need. He’s not reactive with other dogs unless another dog acts that way towards him. He is only defensive and rightfully so but he will need a leader to let him know he is safe and does not need to react and that you will handle any situations that may arise. He’s been doing so well with so many dogs here we have noticed the only time he gets defensive is when there is too much excitement in the pack. In a normal home situation it would usually not be as excitable. He corrects easily if you tell him no or cut it out. He’s been so much fun to have here he plays so well with the other dogs. He’s crate trained and appears to be potty trained. He is doing well with dogs of all sizes and sexes and even various temperaments. He may have just been too stressed where he was. He is so adorable only about 45 lbs, around 2 years old, sweet as heck, current on vaccines and neutered etc. He is going to make a family very happy. We suggest a home with older children as he is very high energy and would probably jump on and knock little toddlers around while playing. He would love to go hiking and play with other dogs so if you have another dog that’s a plus as long as your dog is not dominant towards other dogs. Depending on temperaments it might be a match made in heaven.
