Roy, affectionately known as Action Jackson from his earlier days in 2022, is back with us through absolutely no fault of his own. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy with a bunch of puppy-like traits still shining through.
Roy’s the kind of dog who will push for couch cuddles and wants to hold your hand while he snuggles. He will cheerfully share your toilet paper stash if you leave it in reach—so watch out for that! He’s also very food-motivated, which means he’s super trainable if you have treats on hand and he’s happy to clean up after your kids! On top of that, Roy is a very quiet boy. He travels well in a car (sits like a perfect passenger), walks beautifully on a leash (does not pull), and he’s amazing in a kennel (one is highly recommended to save the toilet paper!). He’ll happily sleep there or just hang out during the day without any fuss.
While he does enjoy shredding a good stuffed toy or chewing a bone, he’s more of a laid-back companion. And here’s the bonus: Roy is great with cats and other calmer dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter. If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.
Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization. We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received.
