My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caruso was running around our small community of Radium Springs, NM. He originally had a piece of rope tied around his neck but that somehow disappeared. No one could get close to him or catch him but I kept going around to him and giving him treats and eventually was able to get a slip lead around his neck. He is very loving and so far has gotten along with other dogs at my rescue. He does not dig out or jump the fence but if he gets loose he will run away and it takes at least an hour to catch him. I am looking for a great home for him in a cooler climate since it is very hot here in Southern NM. Fortunately I have a barn with kennels that has air conditioning and heat, but he loves to be outside so I have misters and pools in all my play yards. I love him dearly but would love to find a loving fun-filled home for him in a much cooler climate.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption agreement and a home visit by us.

Go meet their pets

We plan on attending more adoption events after the first of the year-2015. Currently we are just too busy to take dogs to adoptions regularly. Most of our adoptions have been through friends and word-of-mouth at this point. We will be posting dates and locations on our website and Facebook page in the near future, as well as pictures of our adoptables.

More about this rescue

We are 2 sisters who love all animals but our rescue is focused mainly on dogs. We have 5 acres dedicated to our rescue and a large barn with 14 indoor/outdoor kennels. We both have big hearts and small bank accounts but that hasn't stopped us! We just recently received our 501c3 status so that will help us alot. We assist other rescues in our area whenever we can and encourage all rescues to work together. After all, we share the same goals!
