What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We’ve made the decision that we need to rehome our dog, Winston. He’s 7 years old, high-energy, and affectionate. He loves adults and gets along well with other animals. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room just to be near you.
However, he has shown behavior that makes it no longer safe for him to be around our kids. This decision is being made out of love—for our children, but also for Winston—because he deserves a home where he can feel comfortable and thrive.
He is neutered, and he struggles with anxiety around grooming. He’ll need someone patient and experienced who can give him the calm and structure he needs. In the right environment, we know he will continue to be the loyal, loving companion he’s always been.
