Pinto was found wandering the streets of San Antonio with his sister, Tanner. Today, he is thriving in a foster home alongside his SNIPSA pals (aka his foster siblings). Pinto has naturally stepped into the "big brother" role, teaching them the ropes of yard exploration, gentle play, and impeccable mealtime etiquette.
As we head into the New Year, Pinto has been working on his 2026 goals. He would like you to know that as we ring in the new year, his resolutions are as follows:
Master the "Big Brother" Walk: Continue mentoring his foster siblings with grace until he finds a family of his own.
Optimize Nap Efficiency: Perfect the art of the post-runway nap and cuddles.
Spread Maximum Joy: Ensure every human he meets feels like a superstar.
Secure A Forever Home: Above all, Pinto longs for a permanent place to strut his stuff.

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
