Here's what the humans have to say about me:
* Absolutely precious little guy that loves to be right with his people * Enjoys being carried around and doted on * Velcro pup that will follow you wherever you go * Is working hard on leash walking and getting better each day * Smartie pants that seems to pick up new things quickly * Enjoys playing fetch and will even bring back the ball * Can be nervous and unsure meeting new people, will need some warm up time * Crate trained, still working on house training * Has bilateral luxating patellas on his back legs- gets around ok, but has an unusual gait * Left patella is worse than the right (will eventually need corrected with surgery) * Playful and friendly with other dogs, but can be a little nippy with them when excited * Lives in a foster home with both dogs and cats and does well * Was around children of all ages in his previous home without issues * Adopter with a great vet relationship preferred- will need future medical things
Milo Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua mix Male DOB: 3/24/2025 Weight: 11.5 lbs.
Milo`s adoption fee is $200 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam. If you`re interested in meeting or adopting Milo, please complete an application at: inapl.org/adoption-application.

When you're ready to adopt your new best friend, the first step is to complete an adoption application. They're available online at www.inapl.org or in person. Our Team will verify the information including, but not limited to: home ownership, landlord approval, veterinary records, etc.
Once your application is processed (24-72 hours), we'll work with you to schedule a meet & greet appointment. This is the time when you'll come to our shelter to officially make your connection. We want the entire family be part of the adoption process—especially any children in the home. And if it’s a dog that has stolen your heart, we do require the meet & greet to include any other dogs in the home to ensure compatibility.
Once you've completed a meet & greet, you'll pay the fee and finalize your adoption. Adoption fees range from $30 - $250, depending on the pet you choose. We offer discounts on specific pets based on age, location, and adoption program. We often run specials as well! No profit is generated from the adoption fee and it covers your pet's vetting— a value of over $286!
You may take your new pet home the same day your adoption has been fully approved and finalized, as long as they have already been spayed or neutered. If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, we'll schedule their surgery and plan your pickup date. Cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before their adoption is final.
