Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mrs. Buttersworth! 🍯🐾
This sweet, squishy tabby girl has a story that will melt your heart. About three years old, Mrs. Buttersworth was rescued from the middle of I-35 where she was desperately trying to climb onto a concrete barrier to safety. Her poor little paws were raw, and her nails worn down to nubs—but despite her rough start, she’s shown nothing but love and gratitude ever since.
Mrs. B is a true people-cat. She adores cuddles, naps with her humans, and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Don’t let her round figure fool you—she still enjoys playtime and batting at toys! And yes, she loves her treats and isn’t shy about reminding you when it’s snack time.
She does fine with calm, respectful dogs but would really prefer to be someone’s one-and-only feline queen. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart (and an even bigger purr), Mrs. Buttersworth is your girl.
✨ Ready to let this syrup-sweet tabby pour a little love into your life? ✨

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
