My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is John Wick, and I’m a gentle, curious boy who just needs a little time to feel safe. I’ve been learning so much during my time in foster care, and once I’m comfortable, my sweet and affectionate side comes out in full force. I’m known for my loud purrs, my love of snuggling, and my habit of curling up for naps in the most awkward positions imaginable.

I warm up slowly to new people, but once you’re in my circle, I’ll follow you around like a loyal little shadow. I get along wonderfully with other cats and do very well with large, calm male dogs. I’m also patient and kind with children of all ages, especially those who know how to approach me gently.

Playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. Give me wand toys, bouncy balls, or anything that moves, and I’m ready to show off my best moves. And for the practical stuff—my litter box manners are excellent.

I’m just looking for a patient, loving family who will let me settle in at my own pace. If you give me time, I’ll give you trust, affection, and all the cozy snuggles you could ever want.

Are you ready to be my forever person?

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
