My name is Shadow!

our sweet, loving 5-year-old cat who is looking for her forever home. 🐾

We adopted Shadow almost a year ago from the Humane Society after her previous owner, who loved her deeply, could no longer care for her due to a terminal illness. She quickly became part of our family.

Shadow is affectionate and loves to be close if you sit down with a blanket on your lap, she’ll come running to snuggle with you. She’s happiest curled up on top of you while you relax. Like many cats, she can get overstimulated with too much petting and will give a gentle nip to let you know she needs a break. It doesn’t hurt, it’s just her way of saying, “I’m done.”

We’re sadly looking to rehome Shadow as we’re moving soon, and we know the long flight would be too stressful for her. She’s a unique girl with a few quirks and definite “princess” qualities that make her who she is. Shadow would do best in a calm home without other cats or dogs, and ideally without young children.
