Dog Name: Boaz Biscuit
Breed: Hound Mix
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 50 pounds
Medical Needs: Boaz still needs to be neutered. Scheduled in Dover for 9/30
Housebroken: Boaz does great when taken out on a regular basis. He will sing the song of his people when he needs to go out. He has marked before but seems to be over that. If not he doesn’t mind a belly band
Crate trained: 50/50. Some times he runs in like there’s magic waiting inside and other times he’s like nahhhhh. He will sleep in there although he prefers if his people are near him
Good in the car: Boaz does well in the car, in the back seat. If he’s up front he wants to drive
Good on a leash: Still learning, but not terrible. He doesn’t pull but he likes to take his time and check all the things out
Energy level: Although still young, Boaz is an old man in spirit. He’s happy just lounging around with his people. He occasionally gets excited and wanted to jump and leap everywhere
Need a fenced in yard: No. He’s an escape artist and has escaped the fence twice
Dog Friendly: Boaz does fine with other dogs. He doesn’t even bother the two legged creatures that roam the yard
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? Not necessary
Cat Friendly? Shows no interest in the cat
Kid Friendly: Boaz has been with a 15 year old and 2 year old. I always suggest supervision with the younger ones just as kids don’t always know boundaries
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed? Any with supervision
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Boaz is the sweetest boy learning to live the good life. He’s pretty chill and easy to get along with. Loves a good meal and snuggles
Fosters Location: Houston, DE
