Meet the Pet
This helps Richardson Humane Society with pet care costs.
Our next events to meet our pets:
Saturday September 27, 2025 from 1:30-3:30PM at Take Me Home Pet Rescue 580 W Arapaho Rd Suite 433, Richardson, TX 75080
Saturday October 4, 2025 from 1-3PM at Petco in Plano 801F W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075
Atom is the smallest member of the ‘science babies’ litter, but he’s proof that tiny particles can carry big energy! This little orange boy is endlessly affectionate — he purrs the moment he sees you and wants nothing more than to be close to his people or playing with his siblings. No matter where you are, Atom will be orbiting nearby and ready to expend affectionate energy. Atom has two siblings (Bond and Marie Curie) and while he doesn’t have to be adopted with one of them, he’d be happiest with a friend! Atom’s formula only has one element: love! If you’re looking for a boy who will be your constant, cuddly companion, Atom could be your little particle of joy!
Atom is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, he is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!
Foster-to-Adopt Program Details
We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization
We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted.
Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption.
Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed.
Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.
Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.
Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $135.
