My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apple II is the sweetest way to start your day! She greets you every morning with joyful head butts, loud purrs, and gentle walks across your chest—her way of asking for pets and kisses. She’s a loving companion who will make every sunrise brighter. Apple is also full of kitten energy and needs another kitty to play with, though she rather seems to prefer people. Adults only or with kids over 12. No dogs. She would love to be adopted with her brother Kumquat, or another gentle cat. We estimate she was born May 1, 2025. Kitty Bio #237GC-Ap.

If you're interested in adopting Apple II, Kumquat, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
