I’m Gracie, a ten-year-old lady with a gentle heart, steady leash manners, and a love of snacks that never fades. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy the simple things in life—soft beds, leisurely strolls, and people who love me. My adventure began when some campers in Kipahulu went searching for waterfalls and came back with me, which I like to think was the best discovery of their trip. Now at Maui Humane Society, I’m hoping for a forever family who sees the treasure in a senior dog and will love me through the rest of my story!
Maui Humane Society is enacting a Lifesaving Protocol (LSP) for this pet. This means that they need additional attention and collaboration to find a home, and to improve their quality of life while under our care.
I have made some dog friends here at MHS! Please bring your pups when you come to meet me so we can ensure a great fit.

Requirements for Adoption
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
