What is Rehome?

Athena is a 5-year-old female husky mix. She is playful, loving, and loyal. We have had her since she was a puppy, and she was a Covid puppy so she missed out on socialization. She has some anxiety when strangers come to visit, especially little kids. Once she gets to know visitors and feels comfortable around them, she likes them.
She has bitten/nipped at people before, but only in situations when she was feeling nervous about new people being at her house.
She is house trained and kennel trained. She never chews on things she is not supposed to. She does not have a history of digging or escaping.
Athena would do best in a home without young kids, and maybe as the only pet, though she may do okay with another dog. She usually likes older kids and loves our teenage boys.
Ideally, her future owners would give her lots of attention and love. Athena loves being with her people, and she loves going on walks. She would do best with people who can manage her anxiety/reactivity.
