Marnie's journey started out as a feral cat that was trapped with the intention of spaying her and re-releasing her. She didn't have the typical feral cat behavior and you could tell that she wanted to trust people. She had an intestinal infection so she went home with her now foster mom to be treated before having her spay done. During that time, she realized that she likes being pet and getting attention. Marnie is a beautiful cat and has come a long way.with her socialization. She is in a house with dogs so is not getting all of the attention that she needs. With that being said, when she finds her person, she will thrive with time and patience. She tested positive for FIV but the vet confirmed that she can live a long, normal, healthy life. Marnie is so sweet and needs a chance to become the amazing cat that we know she will be and get the love and attention that she so deserves. Will you be the one to give her that chance?

Weight: 9 lbs
Temperament: Gets along with adults but wants to warm up to you. Might be ok with respectful dog. Is FIV/FeLV positive so maybe needs to be only cat.
Training: Litter box trained
Temperament: Apprehensive at first but warms up with time
Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and FIV/FeLV is positive

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (bit.ly/DH-Cat) for caretakers to review. Once approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation funded, so please expect a fee to cover each pet's basic vetting.

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.
Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.
Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.
Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
