Meet Peepers! Peepers is a young adult male cat who was confiscated by animal control over the summer from a hoarding case. We were able to pull him off the euthanasia list! he was on antibiotics/antivirals for months, had his eye removed, gained healthy weight, was neutered/vetted and had a dental cleaning.

Peepers still has URI (cat cold) flareups from time to time that are managed pretty well with clavamox antibiotics.

Peepers is finally ready to start searching for his forever home. because of his background, Peepers is scared of new people and is still learning to trust even those he knows. he is not “feral” nor aggressive, simply shy. he has been making GREAT strides lately and really loves pets, butt scratches and belly rubs once he is comfortable. he will need a quiet and patient home where he can be himself, be loved, and receive medication when needed. Peepers is the silliest little guy who will never fail to make you smile with his antics, round face and little snorts!
Peepers is very playful once comfortable and would strongly prefer to go to a home with another playful cat or two whom he can befriend. he has been cleared to be around other cats and is currently around lots of them here, but of course we would recommend keeping your other cats up to date on their vaccines and vet visits (we require this of potential adopters anyways). he likes to play with string toys, catnip kickers and paper bags!

Peepers does not have an adoption fee although any donations are greatly appreciated because of the money put into getting him healthy.
