My name is Sasha!

Sweet little Sasha is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years. This beautiful gray kitty came to our shelter when her family could no longer care for her. She is a little shy at first, but she is sure to come out of her shell in a quiet home. Sasha previously lived with another cat, so she may do well with other cats in her new home if you do slow introductions. This petite girl is only about 6 pounds, although we hope that she will gain some weight now that she is taking medication for hyperthyroidism. You might notice that one of her eyes looks a little different… we aren’t quite sure why her eye is discolored, but it doesn’t seem to be bothering Sasha, so we are just monitoring it for now. Additionally, Avita`s adoption is fee-waved, AND she is going home with a $500 credit at Pender Veterinary Practice for continuing care, thanks to our Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!

If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
